When issuing subawards, Pass-Through Entities (PTEs) are responsible for managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing programmatic and fiscal performance of their subrecipients. At our institution, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) conducts risk assessments and ensures compliance with key regulations (IRB, IACUC, COI) through subaward agreements. Meanwhile, departments play a critical role in monitoring the day-to-day programmatic and financial performance of their subrecipients. This session is a great opportunity to refresh your understanding and gain practical insights into best practices for effective subrecipient monitoring.
