Submit Your Invention
An Invention Disclosure is the first step in commercializing a new innovation and should be made by faculty, staff or graduate student researchers when something new and useful has been developed, or unusual, unexpected research results have been obtained.
- Download the Invention Disclosure Form [DOC]
- Review the Invention Disclosure Instructions [DOC]. An Applied Innovation staff member can work with you to answer any questions you may have.
- Once completed, email your disclosure to techdisclosure@drexel.edu
The Invention Disclosure will be assigned to a licensing manager, who will perform an initial review to understand the innovation and its applications and assess options for intellectual property protection and commercialization. This review will include discussion with its innovators to both understand the innovation and the team's commercialization goals and aspirations for it.
